A useful quotation comparison starts with what each supplier has actually included.
Put the product details side by side
Compare material, dimensions, construction, colour and finish. Ask suppliers to name the material and describe the specification rather than relying only on a product photo.
Check what is included
Look for packaging, logo application, sample charges, tooling, testing and local delivery. An item that is excluded from one quote can make a lower unit price misleading.
Use the same order quantity
Confirm minimum quantities for the product and for each variation. A quote for a larger order or fewer colours is not directly comparable with a smaller mixed order.
Confirm the sample and approval process
Ask what the sample represents, how revisions are handled and how the approved details will be recorded for production. Keep the reference available for later checks.
Write down unresolved differences
A comparison does not need to force a winner immediately. Record unclear details and ask for clarification before making a price-based decision.
